How Do Assignment Bonus Marks Work?

What happens to any additional bonus marks we have on top of our
assignments? If we have extra bonus marks, can they go towards a
midterm or exam? Or not because of the different weights?

Presumably then you score 105% on that assignment, which is then the
percentage used to calculate your overall assignment mark, which will
then possibly over 100%. This would then be included in the regular
mark calculation. However, since assignments aren't worth that much
in the grand scheme of things, it isn't that big a boost.

In general, you can't recieve more than 100% in a course, even if your
mark calculation would put you there.

That is the easiest method and doesn't require changing a typical
spreadsheet calculation.

It would be nice if everyone developed that habit. --PR

I'm not sure how getting over 100% on an assignment will work; I'm going
to presume for now that your assignment mark will be calculated as
whatever percentage you get for that particular assignment (so you can
have, say, 103% on one assignment and 97% on another, averaging out to
100% on both). However, the course staff has yet to decide exactly what
we're going to do.

As far as the marks on UWACE go, I just realized that the script I'm
using to create the files I'm uploading to UWACE do not take bonuses
into account. I'm working on fixing that and will hopefully have it
done today or tomorrow.
